The Doctrine and Principles on Which We Stand
What We Believe:
The Word of God - All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness... (II Timothy 3:16)
[Jesus Christ] Who verily was foreordained before the foundation of the world, but was manifest in these last times for you, who by him do believe in God, that raised him up from the dead, and gave him glory; that your faith and hope might be in God.
(I Peter 1:20, 21)
We believe the Bible is the inspired and only infallible, authoritative Word of God.
We believe there is one God, eternally existent in three persons: God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Ghost.
We believe in the deity of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.
We believe in the Virgin Birth.
We believe Jesus is the Word of God: come in the flesh, born without sin.
We believe He came to save man from sin.
We believe in His vicarious and atoning death.
We believe in His bodily resurrection.
We believe that He ascended back to Heaven and is sitting on the right hand of the Father.
We believe the only way to be cleansed from sin is through the blood of Jesus after one has repented of his sins, and faith in the shed blood of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.
We believe that regeneration by the Holy Spirit is absolutely essential for personal salvation. We believe in the Baptism of the Holy Ghost. (Acts 2:4)
We believe that the redemptive work of the cross also provides healing for our human bodies by faith and in answer to prayer.
(Mark 11:24; Mark 16:17,18; John 14:13,14; James 5:14,15; 1 Peter 1:24)
We believe in Water Baptism, according to The Great Commission. (Matthew 28:19)
The Great Commission Fulfillment:
Jesus said, "All power is given unto me in heaven and in earth. Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost: Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you: and, lo, I am with you always, even unto the end of the world. Amen."
